Robert M. Arnall
is FineMark National Bank & Trust’s Executive Vice President and
Senior Lending Officer. Mr. Arnall was born in Atlanta, Georgia and has
lived in Fort Myers, Florida since 1964. In 1985, Mr. Arnall graduated
from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Business
Administration. In October 1995, Mr. Arnall accepted a position as
Second Vice President of Private Banking with Northern Trust Bank of
Florida in Fort Myers. Responsibilities at Northern Trust included new
business development and portfolio management of commercial, residential
and personal loans. Additionally, Mr. Arnall was responsible for Home
Mortgage Disclosure Act and Truth in Lending Compliance for the office.
In 1996, Mr. Arnall assumed further responsibility as Community
Reinvestment Act Compliance officer for Northern Trust’s Southwest
Florida region covering Lee and Collier Counties. In 1998, Mr. Arnall
was promoted to Vice President and Senior Lending Officer in the Fort
Myers office of Northern Trust Bank of Florida and continued his lending
and Community Reinvestment Act compliance responsibilities. While at
Northern Trust, Mr. Arnall acquired his Series 6 and Series 63 licenses
for the purpose of selling Northern Funds. In January 2005, Mr. Arnall
left Northern Trust to begin a career outside of banking. He was most
recently employed as the Chief Financial Officer of Cape Cement &
Supply, Inc., a local supplier of building materials.
Mr. Arnall also
has been active in the community, serving on the Board of Directors of
the Edison Pageant of Light, the Edison Festival of Light, the Kiwanis
Club of Fort Myers and the Volunteer Center of Lee County. In addition,
Mr. Arnall has been active in the development of affordable housing and
has worked closely with several non-profit developers of affordable
housing including; Dunbar Industrial Action Development, Lee County
Housing Development and Cape Coral Housing Development. Mr. Arnall has
served on the Building Committee of Crestwell Higher Learning, a local
non-profit private school. While serving on this Committee, Mr. Arnall
was instrumental in the relocation and expansion of the school’s
facility from 5,000 to over 24,000 square feet. Furthermore, Mr. Arnall
has completed the Leadership Lee County program operated annually by the
Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce.
