Scott A. Edmonds is the former Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Chico’s FAS, Inc., a specialty retailer of women’s private-label clothing, intimates, complementary accessories and other non-clothing gift items. Edmonds joined Chico’s in 1993 as its Operations Manager. After holding various executive level positions, he was named President and Chief Operating Officer in 2001. In 2003, while still serving as President, Edmonds was named Chief Executive Officer and in 2007, he was appointed Chairman of the Board. Prior to joining Chico’s, Edmonds was employed for 13 years with Ferguson Enterprises, Inc., a plumbing and electrical wholesale company, where he last served as President and General Manager of the Fort Myers, Florida, division. Mr. Edmonds has served on the board of Florida Council of 100, which consists of Florida CEOs who work in close harmony with the Governor, Chief Justice, and the Florida Legislature, as well as with private organizations, to improve the economic well-being and quality of life of the people of Florida. A member of the United Way’s Alexis de Tocqueville Society, Edmonds also served as the 2007-2008 Campaign Chairman for United Way of Lee, Hendry, and Glades Counties. Mr. Edmonds also served on the board of the Foundation for Florida Gulf Coast University, was an advisory board member of the Jay H. Baker Retailing Initiative at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and contributed financially and as a volunteer for Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida. In 2006, he was named an outstanding Laureate for the Lee County Business Leadership Hall of Fame. In 2007, he served as Dinner Chairman of the 14th Annual Tribute to the United States Coast Guard Seventh District in Miami, FL. Mr. Edmonds is the founder of Bellfield Investment Partners, a private equity investment firm in Mathews, VA, and a founding director, board member, and member of the Executive Committee of FineMark National Bank & Trust in Fort Myers, FL. He also serves on the boards of Mainline Supply Company in Charlotte, NC, Revolution Dancewear in Chicago, IL, and AR360 in Richmond, VA. Most recently, Mr. Edmonds was appointed to the board of directors of the Virginia Institute of Marine Sciences of The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA.
