IntraFi Network Deposits (formerly CDARS®)

IntraFi Network Deposits, formerly known as the Certificate of Deposit Account Registry Service or CDARS®, is a program comprising a network of FDIC-insured banks that work together to help high-balance savers insure their deposits. Designed to help maximize FDIC coverage limits, the program allows individuals to establish certificate of deposit (CD) accounts through multiple banks via a single local financial institution (such as FineMark).

How It Works: When you submit funds through FineMark using IntraFi Network Deposits, that deposit is divided into amounts below $250,000 (the standard FDIC insurance maximum) and placed in your choice of deposit accounts (e.g., demand deposit, money market or CD accounts) at other network banks.
